Anna Marecek b. 1881?. Kathi Marecek b. 1849?. Stepan Marecek b. 1849?
came to US (Bremen, Germany to Galveston) Aug. 1906/1907 on ship Koln2.
In 1906, Joseph and Vaclav Marecek supposedly bought a pkg deal to sail from
Germany (Bremen) to Galveston. One was to reside in the U.S. and the other was
to go to South America. The brothers thought that this would be a good deal
because they would be able to "walk" over and see each other regularly.
Suspect this a plan to help settle the America's? Has anyone ever heard of
this type of deal? Where in S. America did they take Port when they left
Galveston,Tx or did they travel by train through Mexico? Any help is appreciated.
Does anyone know where Zadavech is? Does anyone know where Ulbarov(e) is?
