
Chren - Horseradish Beet Relish

All of these recipes were given to me by my Grandmother Julianna Lazorik Barnyik Ambrisko, who was born in Kosicka Bela, Slovakia on June 15, 1882. I have had them since I was twelve, when I watched her make all this on holidays.... now I do...
Ingredients:
1 lb of whole or sliced beets, cooked
1/2 jar ground horseradish (2 oz. or so)
Put into blender
Process till ground up finely
You can add vinegar but the prepared horseradish usually has enough
Put into clean jar
Let set in frig for a week before using.
