Researching: MOLNAR, KOVATS
I am trying to locate information about my grandmother, Mary Molnar. From the information that I have been able to acquire she was born in the town of Nagy-Kapos, now within the Slovakia boundry, between 1870- 1875 and immigrated to America and settled in Cleveland Ohio in about 1890. I believe she had a number of brothers and sisters, possibly 16, but don't know any names. I am trying to locate any of her relatives still living in Nagy-Kapos. In America she married Geza Kovats and they had 4 children, Irene, Elisabeth, Juluis and Geza. She returned to Hungary for a visit, possibly between WWI and WWII, with her 2 daughters, Irene and Elisabeth. She then returned to America with Elisabeth and her sister was supposed to follow later with Irene, but WWII prevented this from happening and Irene remained in Hungary till after the war.
