I'm looking for information on the descendants of Julianna Grucelak and Piotra Matwijczak. They were married on Nov. 22, 1894 in Leluchow, Nowy Sacz, Poland, and the family thinks they remained in Nowy Sacz. Piotra was the son of Jana Matwijczak and Anna Holowacz. Julianna was the daughter of Piotra Grucelak and Lucia Romaniak. Any information on this family would be most appreciated. I'm researching the Juhas and Janik families from Circ. My great-grandparents were Theodorus "Fedor" Juhas and Maria Janik. They were married in 1891, immigrated to the U.S. and settled in the coal mining community of Adrian/Delancy, Young Township, Jefferson County, PA. They raised eight children. Theodorus Juhas (b. March 3, 1865) was the son of Petrus Juhas-Popov (son of Josephus Juhas-Popov & Maria Kovaljak) and Suzanna Gernat (daughter of Elias Gernat-Juritskov and Anna Vasztsak). He had siblings named Andreas (b. Nov. 26, 1863); Anna (b. Feb. 15, 1867); Petrus (b. July 9, 1872); Maria (b. Jan. 10, 1875); and Helena Juhas (b. Jan. 1, 1860). Maria Janik (b. Aug. 21, 1865) was the daughter of Janos Janik (son of Joannes Janik and Anna Jacobi Kovalyak) and Maria Varchol (daughter of Joannes Varchol and Eva Nalepa). I have found only one sibling (Maria, b. in 1851 and assume that she died prior to 1865). I would like to find information about the descendants of Andreas, Anna, Petrus, Maria and Helenna Juhas and any information about the Janik family. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Researching: MARINKO, MARYANKO, MERRANKO, KOLLAR
I am researching the names Marinko, Maryanko, Merranko, and Kollar. My last name is "Merranko" but was changed from "Maryanko" which is what my grand father went by. I found an Andy Marinko who was married to Annie from "Slovakland" in the 1920 census, and settled in Braddok, Pa...which is like RIGHT outside of pittsburgh. there are no other indications of them in the 1910 census so they must have just recently imigrated...Their children areMike, Lizzie, Susie, Helen, mary, Andy, Albert (my grandpa), and a Mike...I believe the last mike was a brother in law or brother of Andy...its hard to read... As for the Kollar side i just know of my Grandma Dorothy Kollar and her brothers Rev. Edmund and and Edward...i know there are more but im not sure...they all settled eventually in the braddock area and I couldn't tell you more about the Kollar family.

They are from a town called Hrinova or Hrnova, we are unsure of the spelling. They settled in western Pennsylvania. Andrew was a cola miner and moved with the mining companies. I have found the following residences: Creighton, East Deer Township, Tarentum, Brownsville, Fayette County, Burgettstown, Washington County. All of these places are in western Pennsylvania.

Researching: ZACHHUBER, ZOICHHUBER, VKOETI, VKOITI, GRUBER
My grandmother Justine Zachhuber (Zoichhuber) was born on June 5 1886 - quoted in her bible as St George by Presburg (now Bratislava, Slovakia), Hungary. I was told that she learned to cook in the hotel of Vienna. According to her bible her father was Peter Paul Zoichhuber and mother was Rozine - last name something like Vkoeti or Vkoiti. Other siblings are: Adolf, Elizabeth, Rozinoc, Victoria (Miktorier), Kathrine. It is possible that there are records on my grandmother and her family. She was married in August 1907 to Samuel Gruber in Hamilton, OH, USA. He was from Grunau (spelling?). I do know that she returned on two times with her daughter Anna born in the USA. I have a program from a very old church that was at least 100 years old that shows that Anna was baptized there. I'm sure the church was Lutheran and I remember there were alot of Gruber's list as giving contributions. I remember that it was said that my grandmother's father was entitle to use the name Peter Paul von Zachhuber possibly a constable of a town. Any information you could provide would be wonderful.
