Pecirkuv Narodni kalendar - 1900


As we turn in to another century, we will be featuring the 1900 issue of the Pecirkuv Narodni kalendar published in Prague at the previous turn of the century.

We will be putting up actual scans of the pages each month and by the end of the year hope to have the entire kalendar on line.

The back cover of this kalendar could have got you into trouble with the law as the Austro-Hungarian government took strong measures to stem the tide of emigration from Austria-Hungary.

There are many other interesting advertisements in the almanac along with helpful information.
