Researching: CIRNEY, TERRIA
Researching the family of my great grandmother, Anna Cirney, born July 1856 in Czechoslovakia. Her parents are John and Katherine Terria Cerney. Anna married George Jones in Pierce, Kewaunee, Wisconsin on 28 Nov 1877. The Jones and Cerney families show on the 1880 Wisconsin census. John was born in Bohemia in 1827, died in Wisconsin in 1898. Katherine was born in Bohemia in 1837. My information is very sketchy and confusing due to the various spellings I have found of the name. George and Anna are buried in Anacortes, Skagit County, Washington. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

This is a response to a post from Franscisco Krivanek (03 Nov 1998). His email address does not work any more. I have some info on Ludmila Nesporova, born 05 Nov 1904, in Tvrdonice, baptised 10 Nov 1904, Tvrdonice (Roman Catholic church). Her father was Jan Nespor, born 16 Mar 1874, Tvrdonice, son of Josef Nespor, from Kostice, and Eva (daughter of Josef Blaha). Her mother was Marie, born 22 Jan 1877, Tvrdonice, daughter of Tomas Nemecek, from Tvrdonice, and Marie (daughter of Jan Juracek). Jan Nespor and Marie were married on 12 May 1897. I am seeking information about my ancestors from CZ. My gg grandfather, Jan Bracha, was born Dec. 24, 1844. His father's name was Mathew. Jan's first wife was Marie Cerna. They had seven children. Jan and Marie came to America from Cernovice, Bohemia. Jan's second wife was my gg grandmother, Katherina Kakuska, born Nov. 15,1862. Her father was John Kakuska and her mother was Anna Novak. Jan and Katherina had five children. They farmed near Vodnany, S. Dak. My g grandfather, Adolph Freidel, was born July 10, 1859, in Seibersdorf, Bohemia. His wife, Antonie Konecney, was born Aug. 9, 1855, in Ubinek, Moravia. Antonie's brother, Joseph Konecney, married Adolph's sister, Anna Freidel. Joseph was born in Maly Ubusin, Moravia. Anton Dvorak,1836-6/12/1912, born in Beroun, CZ, died in Johnson County, Iowa, m. Barbara Brosh, 1838 - 4/16/1901, born in Pilsen, CZ, died in Johnson County, Iowa. I am interested in finding a family history for Lyle Morava from Nebraska. He passed away a couple of years ago. His first wife's name was Helen but she remarried and her last name is now Briney. Researching: PASTERIO
I'm looking for information on two brothers who immigrated from there in the 1890's. There name was not Pasterio that I know of but this name was used in America. one brother's name was Joe (or Joseph or Josef) and his brother's name I don't know. Joe's mothers name was Mary (I believe ), and he came to america through New Orleans. They were born around the 1850's and Joe died in Washington Parish, Louisiana in 1957. any information would be greatly appreciated. In search of the origins of my ancestors, John Kucera and his wife Paulline Sejkora, both born in Bohemia not far from Prague, but exactly where I do not know. My best guess is that they immigrated to America around 1884. They settled in Beemer, Nebraska, where they are also buried. Also, information on ancestry of Barbara Vlasak (married Joseph Kucera, son of John Kucera) or Anna Walla (b. I am researching the above surnames. They were from Mecichov and Doubravice, Czechoslovakia. My immigrant ancestor was Wenzl Medlin and came to the United States in 1866 and lived and worked in Chicago, Jersey City and Buffalo, New York. He finally settled in Cleveland, Ohio and established the Pilsener Brewery of Cleveland, Ohio. John and Susanna Kubena, with daughter, Anna (age 16), left Moravia in 1873 . They traveled by ship to the Port of Galveston, TX and settled near Moulton, TX, LaVaca county. Researching surnames Stancik and Westlake. My grandmother emigrated from Bohemia at the turn of the century with the name Westlake. My grandfather emigrated sometime before WWII from Slovakia with the name Stancik. They lived in Illinois, and I am interested in finding any relatives from their side of the family. My great grandfather, Frank Kautsky, was born in Prague, Bohemia in 1863. His father was also named Frank Kautsky. Great grandad left on a freighter, which he boarded in Hamburg, Germany, to the US in 1880. I need info on his village, his mother and father's names, and whatever other information I can get. My father, Jan Horak, came to New York on the ship Aquitania on May 21, 1921. He went to Westpoint, Nebraska on May 26, 1921 and applied for citizenship there. He had a sponsor, Mrs. Francis Telamik in Westpoint. The name he used on the ship was Jan Storek, possibly a typographical error on his passport. From Nebraska he came to Chicago and died in 1946. His home was in Cechy Doudleby. Some of his correspondence to Emilie Dernirova was to Zamberk. She may have been his sister, whom we knew as Emma, or a friend.
