Looking for information on my gg grandfather Lorenz Saumer who was born in Hirschbergen Bohemia which is nowadays Jeleni. He was born by records in Bohemia on September 16, 1843, and by the records here states he was born August 10,1843. His parents names were Joseph Saumer who was a worker, and Theresie Schroder was his mother who was the daughter of Wolfgang Schroder who was a cottager in Jeleni. His mother Theresia was born in Zechmann from Bayern. Lorenz was married first to a woman named Mary(do not know her last name) in which they had four children. Mary died and is buried in Germany. He then married Franziska Spanbaur who had three children of her own and together they came to America in 1891 and settled in the Pine City area in Minnesota. Lorenz died March 14, 1918 in Pine City. Looking for anyone who may be related or with the surname Saumer from the Jeleni area.

My dad's name is Larry Cherveny. He has two brothers named David and Danny. their dad's name was Milo Cherveny before he died in 1958. His wife (my grandma)s name is Alice. her maiden name is Gaughan. My dad's brother danny has a son named Matt and a daughter named Lara. My dad also has another son and daughter (my half brother and half sister) whos names are Jim and Sarah. Jim is currently in the army at Fort Bragg North Carolina. My Great Great Great grandfather is Winfield Scott, but he is not a direct ancestor of the Chervenys. The name Cherveny actually used to be Cerveny but it was Americanised when my great grandfather came to America. In Czechoslovakian it means "red".
