The Funeral of Emy Juliana Czismarczik
Has anyone seen this picture taken in Spisska Nova Ves c. 2 February 1898
or recognize the names Csiszmarcszik, Dajka, Papp and Wildner?
Several years ago I submitted these two photographs in hopes of contacting
someone also related to these people who might help me with information to
identify the people in the pictures. This didn't happen, but I did learn
that the Parish Records for Spisska Nova Ves were available on microfilm
through my local FHC.
And so I have spent the last three years researching my family lines and
along the way gathering enough facts to identify the people in the two
pictures which were sent by someone in Spisska Nova Ves to my grandmother
who had immigrated to New York City in 1897.

The funeral of Emy Juliana Czismarczik
The girl in the coffin is Emy Juliana Csiszmarcszik, my grandmother's younger sister. Emy is the daughter of Martin Csiszmarcszik and his wife Juliana Paszti. Martin and Juliana died in 1886 and 1887, respectively, leaving four daughters ages 8,6, 4 and 2 to be raised by ? Juliana Paszti is the half sister of Maria Odusch, having the same mother, Ana Odusch from Lubice.

Sincerely,
Fran
