Every year, All Souls Day in Slovakia is connected with the remembrance of our relatives and friends that are deceased.
On this day and several days before, a flow of people begins in Slovakia. People travel from east to west, from north to south and vice-versa.
They come to the cemeteries of their most loved in order to express regards and remembrance for relatives, family members or friends, bearing candles and bringing bunches of flowers to place on the graves.
If you are not able to come to the cemetery of your ancestors, relatives and friends from Slovakia in person you should light a candle in your window and remember your ancestors, relatives, friends who are deceased in your prayers that day.
For all that will light a candle on All Souls Day. post the names of your deceased parents and grandparents in the Remembrance Roll Call.
At the end of October we created an "All Souls Day" Memorial page with all the parents and grandparents submitted to the "Remembrance Roll Call".
It wil be interesting to see how many candle we can light all over the world on All Souls Day, November 2.
