YOUNGSTOWN SLOVAK MALE CHORUS

This chorus is composed of the 30 outstanding male singers of the choirs in the dozen or so Slovak churches in and about Youngstown. The director is Michael Schromofsky who, for years, has played a prominent part in the musical life of the community.

He has won renown as director of the choir at St. John's Church in Campbell, the nationally known Holy Trinity Serbian Glee Club, and presently the choir at St. Cyril's and Methodius Church, one of the ranking church choirs in northeastern Ohio.

This male chorus is the crowning event in his long musical career.

Dorothy Schromofsky Vano, an organist of note, is the accompanist.
