Photos of Your Ancestral
Village in the Slovak Republic

I highly recommend this photo service. I'm in a situation where I may not be able to go to Slovakia, at least not for several years. However, through this service, I was able to obtain photos of my ancesteral villages--the next best thing to being there in person.

Photographer Maros was able to bring the Slovak villages right into my living room. Based on what I requested in terms of subject matter Maros delivered. The quality of the photos are top notch. You need not worry about doing business with someone on the other side of the world. The service is set up as if it were in North America and you receive e-mail updates so you know where things stand. If you are interested in what your ancesteral village(s) look like today this is an excellent opportunity for you to find out in an affordable and easy manner!

I would like to thank you for the beautiful job you did when photographing my family's village of Kliestina, Slovakia.

The photos were the first images that any of my family members have seen of that village. It was especially exciting to my father who was born there, but left as a baby. You were so professional and helpful in all of your correspondence. The narrative that you included with the index prints was just great. Thanks again for a job well done.

Sincerely,

Yes, I received the pictures today. I am very pleased with them. I now have a flavor of the area my mother came from. I found the quality of the pictures were excellent and you did give me the categories I was interested in. The other thing I found that simplified the whole transaction was that I was able to pay for it with my personal check. Again, I was pleased and satisfied with your work. I wish you success in your business.

I was very impressed with the quality of photos takes by Vertep of my mother's village Hyrova, near Dukla in Lemkivshchyna / Lemkovyna last Christmas. To see the wooden tserkva through the leaveless trees that surround it, makes it a very moving experience, since during the rest of the year this tserkva is concealed under the canopy of trees that surround it. I highly recommend his photographic skills to others.
