Researching: DZVONIK, KOCIS, RASKOVSKA, ADAM, ADAMOVA, CURMOVA, KICINKO TIMKOVA, PETRO, PETROVA, SCERBOVA, SVAGROVSKA
On my mothers side, researching Jan Dzvonik b January 13, 1891, who married Anna Kocisova b December 28, 1895, m August 1918 in Senne, Slovakia. They had three children: Anna b June 06, 1920; Jan b November 17, 1924; and Juraj b January 04, 1935. One generation back, Jan Dzvonik married Maria Raskovska but no dates at hand. All lived in Senne, a small village southeast of Michalovce and northeast of Dubravka, my father's village. I am familiar with current generation living in Senne but would like to broaden the family tree by adding other children of Jan Dzvonik and Maria Raskovska and adding their birth, wedding and death dates. Would have been born about 1865 and married about 1890 in Senne. What other children besides Jan (above)? Some in family were visitors to the US and probably settled. Jan Adam b abt. 1844, d 1925 Dubravka, Slovakia, a village south of Michalovce. Wife Anna Timkova, b 1845, date of death unknown, married May 07, 1866. Eight Adam(ova) children: Jan b April 05, 1866, married Anna Svagrovska, 1898-1983; My GGndfather Michal 1874-1954, married Maria Petrova 1878-1940; Andrej b abt 1880, married Tereza Curmova, 1880-1938; Maria b abt 1880, married Andrej(?) Petro abt 1900; Anna b April 12, 1882, d January 01, 1944, married John Stefanich; Petro b June 22, 1883, d May 04, 1964, married Anna Scerbova; Juraj b abt 1885; Barbara b 1887, married Kicinko. Interested in filling in the gaps in the Adam family tree. Some located in Ohio, eg Stefanich. Petro, Timko and Kicinko connections are very week as to names, locations and dates. Family tree stretches from Slovakia to US and Canada.

Researching: TKACSIK, MARCZINCSAK
Found the baptism of my great, great grandfather, Michael Tkacsik in records for Humenne. He was baptised there on Aug. 27, 1834, son of Paul Tkacsik and Elizabeth Marczincsak. Unfortunately, there seems to be a gap in the records for Humenne for marriages between 1815 and 1844. Any help appreciated in finding the ancestry of Paul or Elizabeth, who lived at Jasenov.

Researching: BIZIK, PACEK
I have been trying to send a message to EdPACK@aol.com. Can someone on AOL help? My name is Vladimir Bizik. I live in the town of Povazska Bystrica. The name of my wife before our marriage was Pacek. Her parents were born in the village Horna Marikova and Kliestina near of my hometown. As soon as I saw your summon I asked to my mother in law if she has any relative in Biely Potok. She remembers that the older brother of her dead husband Adam (1899-1987) Stefan had also son Stefan and his son found there a bride (She can not remember his first name) and followed her there. The surname Pacek is typical and frequent in above mentioned villages. It is highly probable that your ancestor(s) have roots here. I am also finding my relatives in U.S.A. My grandfather from the side of my father had brother Ferdinand who had flown across the ocean with his two sisters in twenties. They had settled in Chicago. Our families stayed in contact but after 1948 it had been interrupted. I have some photographs and letters from my relatives. Nowadays we have no news of them. We are very wonder about their destiny. Greetings from my wife and mother in law. Looking forward to your reply.

Researching: FESH, FEC, FECH, FECS
These are shots in the dark, as my family name was changed to "Fesh" by my great grandfather upon arrival in the U.S. He immigrated with two brothers and settled in Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. However, after a few years, the two brothers _emigrated_ back to the homeland! If family history or legend mentions anything like this, please let me know. Alternate spellings are Fec, Fech, and Fecs.
